Ming Chen, PhD
Dr. Ming Chen received his undergraduate training at the East China Normal University in Shanghai, China, where he also completed a Master’s degree in Biology. He obtained his Ph.D in Pathology at the University of Rochester in 2009 under the supervision of Dr. Shuyuan Yeh, for his work on the role of estrogen receptor alpha in normal prostate development and prostate pathogenesis.
Dr. Chen’s current research is to understand the molecular events underlying progression to metastasis, at both genetic and environmental levels, and to understand the role of DOK2 protein in lung tumor suppression and susceptibility.
